The mission of the journal is to publish original research findings on the political, economic and legal aspects of contemporary society.

The aim of the journal is to create a comprehensive approach to theoretical and practical issues in the development of modern society through advances in the socio-political, economic and legal sciences.

The editorial policy of the journal is to organize an open scientific debate in order to improve the quality of research, efficiency of expertise of scientific papers, identification of scientific potential for the implementation of advanced achievements of science.

The publication ethics of the journal is based on the requirement of the legislation of the Russian Federation with regard to copyright and the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (Committee on Publication Ethics, 2011).

All articles are accepted without external reviews, obligatory examined by anti-plagiarism software via the Domate software, reviewed by experts in the relevant branches of science according to double-blind peer review. They pass through a two-tier proofreading, contain translated information about the author, titles, summary, keywords, notes, provide the bibliographical references in accordance with GOST (in Russian) and the Harvard system (translated into English).

In accordance with Open Access policy, the operation of the journal published by Publishing House HORS is fundedby payments from authors who wish to publish the results of their research. Payment for the editorial and publishing services is provided under a contract concluded with an individual or legal entity, including through grant funding.

The editorial and publishing services include::
- examination for borrowings by Domate anti-plagiarism software;
- scientific review in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Publication, listed online: https://en.dom-hors.ru/poryadok-i-usloviya-publikacii/;
- editorial proccessing (in Russian and English);
- layout of the manuscript;
- publication of the article in the journal issue and open-access placement on the publisher's website (http://en.dom-hors.ru) and of the journal's website (http://en.tipor-hors.ru);
- submission to the eLIBRRARY database, DOI link registration, transfer of metadata in databases and library resources;
- providing the author with a copy of the journal via e-mail.

The cost of editorial and publishing services is determined by the price-list. The services are funded on the basis of an invoice offered in the case of cooperation with an individual, a publication agreement concluded with a higher education institution or by means of a grant funds. The author's editorial and publishing services fee does not affect the editorial decision on the article.
